It’s an election year and virology labs in the US and abroad have been hard at work to create this year’s pandemic. HHS, Defense Department, and CIA have funded various universities and Chinese partners to conduct bioweapons research for the last decade or more, including gain-of-function experiments on avian influenza, AKA, the bird flu. For the moment, human infection is rare and the infection treatable. The same is not true for poultry and livestock.
The food supply may be the true target of the 2024 bird flu pandemic.
The original H5N1 bird flu virus was not easily transmissible between birds and mammals. But about 10 years ago, virologists at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and in the Netherlands gained notoriety by conducting high-risk gain-of-function research on H5N1 that would facilitate the spread.
The process is complicated but essentially researchers repeatedly exposed mammals (ferrets in this case) to the virus until a sufficient number of mutations (5) arose that would permit a variant of H5N1 to transmit via aerosols and respiratory droplets. The occurrence of these 5 mutations in a single strain of H5N1 had never been observed in the wild H5N1 virus. Much like with SARS-CoV-2, it took repeated manipulation of the virus in a lab to create a variant that could be more easily transmitted between species, posing the risk of another manufactured pandemic.
An Ingenious Idea About Spreading the Disease
Skip forward to 2021 and we find that the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) sponsored a joint research project between the US, UK, and China to continue gain-of-function research on H5N1 at the Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory in Georgia and Chinese Academy of Sciences. We kid you not.
The USDA-sponsored research focused on mutating H5N1 using mallard ducks, Chinese geese, and Japanese quail species. And what do these species all have in common? They migrate thousands of miles a year across international boundaries and can effectively serve to inoculate poultry species around the world.
So it should come as no surprise that in 2022 a particularly virulent form of the virus known as Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) H5N1 began causing sporadic outbreaks in commercial poultry flocks in the US. As of May 2024, CDC reported outbreaks in 48 states.
Millions of chickens have been killed to control the spread. Most recently, farmers in Iowa slaughtered 4.2 million chickens after detection of HPAI in a large egg farm. USDA estimates that over 92 million birds have been killed since the outbreak began in 2022.
Return of the PCR Test
USDA is intent on testing domestic poultry and livestock to find and destroy infected animals. The PCR test used to hype COVID-19 hysteria will be reprogrammed to detect H5N1 fragments in farm animals and deployed again to create another pandemic. Mass PCR testing will generate millions of false positive tests, leading to mass destruction of poultry and livestock, and threatening our very food supply.
HPAI has now spread to other species. Infected cattle have been confirmed in dairy cattle farms in 9 states. The culling of herds has begun. The spread through cattle has also resulted in 2 HPAI cases in dairy workers, for a total of 3 known farm animals-to-human transmissions in the US. Fortunately, all workers were treated with prompt resolution of their symptoms, indicating that HPAI is not yet particularly virulent in humans.
Are Humans at Risk?
During the past 20 years, there have been sporadic H5N1 outbreaks in humans, mostly in eastern Asia. Those have been marked by low rates of transmission but a high mortality rate. Human-to-human transmission is extremely rare. Natural mutations appear to have weakened bird flu infections in humans. So does this mean that H5N1 is no longer a risk to the public?
Unfortunately, according to former CDC Director Robert Redfield, MD, we are only a few mutations away from making bird flu highly infectious in humans. Under natural conditions, this would be a very slow and perhaps unlikely process (mutations tend to weaken the virus). But in the Wuhan virology lab or the Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory in Georgia, the necessary changes could be only a matter of months away.
In a recent interview, Dr. Redfield stated:
In the laboratory, I could make it [H5N1] more infectious to humans in months … [we know] the four amino acids that need to change … That’s the real biosecurity threat, that these University labs are doing these bio experiments … Bird Flu, I think, is gonna be the cause of the great pandemic, where they are teaching these viruses how to be more infectious for humans.
And following the COVID-19 playbook, the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) are sponsoring (paying for) Big Pharma to develop a “pre-pandemic” (nothing like telegraphing your punch) avian influenza vaccine to be ready this summer. CSL Seqirus vaccine company is tasked with delivering up to 150 million influenza vaccine doses to support an avian influenza pandemic response.
Not to be outdone, nipping at the heels of CSL Seqirus are the big COVID-19 vax players, Pfizer and Moderna, who expect to have their mRNA-based bird flu vaccines ready later this year. Moderna stock has already begun to rebound on the news following the precipitous drop off in mRNA COVID-19 vax sales.
What to Do?
First, do not fall for the pandemic hype around bird flu and understand that the new bird flu vaccines are coming to market with little to no comparative safety testing and limited clinical trials.
Second, Tamiflu ® (oseltamivir) if taken early is an effective treatment for influenza, including bird flu. Existing strains exhibit mild symptoms in people.
Third, alert your representatives about the threat posed to the food supply by USDA’s gain-of-function experiments that appear to have led to the emergence of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI).
Fourth, further encourage your representatives to challenge the USDA’s mass-killing approach to control the spread of new strains of bird flu. It’s only through infection and transmission that the engineered viruses will naturally mutate and weaken, just as was seen with SARS-CoV-2 mutations leading to an endemic but weakened virus. Killing infected animals only slows the natural process of mutation to less infectious forms.
Fifth, pray that HHS, BARDA, and USDA are unsuccessful at creating a bird flu Frankenstein virus that is highly virulent in humans. Remarkable that such an observation needs to be made.

I understand that it was banned for teenagers due to neuropsychiatric side effects. Basically, some kids starting doing weird stuff while being treated so they decided it was contraindicated in that age bracket.
Q: Did they banned tamiflu in Japan ?
